Infusing teas and flavourings is a great way to create your own signature drink. One of our favourite ways to create party-worthy drinks is to mix Gryphon Artisan Teas with 1 or 2 types alcohol, shake them up with ice, strain and serve immediately. When hosting a party, you’d want your food and drinks to be as honest and doable as possible without leaving out some fun – especially when there are more than fifty guests.
When we launched our Mandarin Collection which consists of Artisan Templetree Lotus and Lily of the Field about almost a year ago, we created a couple of mocktail and cocktail recipes for our guests to try and recreate back at home. So here’s one of our favourite using Gryphon Artisan Templetree Lotus. This recipe calls for 1 serving, so double up if you need to. Alternatively, remove alcohol for a Mocktail version – works best both ways! 😉
30ml Barcadi Superior
15ml Vedrenne Peach Syrup
5ml Lime Juice or Concentrate
30ml Cranberry Pomegranate Juice
120ml Gryphon Templetree Lotus Tea
Steep Gryphon Templetree Lotus Tea in 120ml of hot water for 6 minutes. Strain and let cool for a minute. Add remaining ingredients and cooled tea into shaker filled with ice and shake to mix. Strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime or pomegranate seeds.
